Did you guys get to see the sunset tonight? It was beautiful. I had a family photo shoot scheduled so we took advantage of it. The Ashjian family has been coming to me ever since I've been in business which I truly appreciate. Thanks you guys. They wanted to do something a bit different this year for their Christmas cards so we took the session outdoors. Their outfit choices were great and the chocolate brown colors worked well with my funky orange couch, wheat colored grasses (dead weeds), and all the cool colors in the sky. Check it out.
By the way, I am currently scheduling/shooting for Christmas cards for those of you who haven't already booked. Call soon as the openings have a tendency to fill up rather quickly. I want to have a life around the holidays this year. The 14-18 hour days about killed me last year so please book early.

Just maui'd: Jeramy & Jocelyn
Jordyn's walking!
My little princess is finally taking her first steps. With lots of encouragement from Mom and Dad (yeah, that's Dad's screechy high voice) she has started to finally get the hang of it and I'm sure will soon find out that it's much faster than crawling. At that point, we'll probably wish we didn't show quite so much encouragement as we'll be chasing her all over the place. Sorry for the quality of this video, it was taken from my cell phone. I think you'll get the idea. I'll have to start carrying around the point and shoot camera that has a better video function. I don't want to miss this good stuff.
So this is blogging?!
Well, it's been long overdue but I'm happy to announce that I am finally going to start blogging. I may be the last photographer on the planet to start blogging (and believe me I've felt the pressure) but in any case I'm gonna get this thing rollin'. I think this is a great way that I can share with family, friends, and clients (present and future) the latest happenings in both my personal and professional life. Your comments and support are appreciated as it will only help to motivate me to keep this active and updated. Cheers to the blog life.
