Our 4th of July!

We had purrrrfect weather for the 4th, a cool 83 degrees, and got to spend the afternoon/evening with our friends Chris and Nanita, their kids, and loads of other families and their little ones. We BBQ'd, ate, drank, swam, played on the waterslide, drank some more, jumped in the bounce house, drank some more, lit fireworks, well, you get the idea. It was a hoot! And of course, I had the "job" to photograph it all. I luvvvvv my job! Donovan turns 4!

We got to spend the rainy afternoon at Pump It Up, the inflatable party zone, for Donovan's (my sister in laws grandson) 4th birthday party. Lots of color, bounce houses, inflatable slides, air hockey, and great cupcakes. My kids are still on a sugar high. Here's a few pics from the party.

Thanksgiving is long past. . .

but I still have lots to be thankful for, like a family that will jump on command. See below for those and other fun pics from Thanksgiving, only 1 short month ago. Sheesh time flies and it seems to be only accelerated around the holidays for photographers like myself. Things are finally winding down for me though and I've finally got some time to post some of my most recent work so please stay tuned.

*Photo tip: Getting one to jump not only leads to great expressions/funny faces but quite often will result in jaw hurting belly laughs from those surrounding the jumpers. We had fun with this one.
